Read each complete purchase unit
The observed ordinary quotes are£14.95 for Catsan Hygiene 20 L,£5.85 for Tesco Lightweight Wood 10 L and£5.95 for Tesco Premium Ultra Clumping 5 L. One of each gives£26.75 merchandise and 35 declared litres across three different products. The mixed total is a basket description, not a recommendation to mix litters.
Calculate without rounded shelf labels
Dividing the exact price by its pack declaration gives£0.7475,£0.585 and£1.19 per litre respectively. Rounded shelf labels can display fewer decimals and need not be used as the arithmetic input. Per-litre cost compares a labelled purchase amount, not absorption, odour duration or months of use.
Keep membership conditions separate
Catsan’s separately displayed£12.80 Clubcard offer has customer and delivery-date conditions. Expired promotions visible in older category versions are not current entitlements. This comparison preserves the ordinary quote rather than constructing a cheaper basket from offers that may not apply together.
Check actual payable charges
Final selected delivery-day prices, availability, delivery charges and any other actual charges still need confirmation. The local ledger leaves blanks unresolved and does not add guessed VAT or apply member discounts automatically. One retailer and three products do not verify three approved affiliate merchants.
Apply the distinction to a purchase
A promotional category snapshot displayed an older July–August offer, while the selected Catsan page showed the October–December Clubcard condition. We kept the ordinary 14.95 GBP quote and did not combine both offers.
Read the delivery service separately
Tesco’s current delivery help describes standard slots ranging from£3 to£7 and collection from£0 to£2 depending on location;flexi saver also has separate availability conditions. These ranges exclude stated minimum-order and same-day charges. They are not a confirmed fee for this basket. Enter the actual selected slot and any additional charge instead of choosing the lowest advertised number automatically.
